Faith prepares
for VBS 2008

Grab your gear and join our Friendship Trek VBS ‘08, an amazing hike through the Bible to meet Jesus, our Forever Friend. Young and mature will experience Jesus’ friendship, enjoy meeting friends, and learn to care for one another.  Trail walkers will explore five friend-filled Bible stories about Jesus. They will run to follow Jesus as He reaches out to a new friend named Matthew. Trekkers go along as a centurion asks Jesus to heal the man’s servant—and He does! Friends traipse to the temple as Jesus heals His blind friend, then of to Bethany to see Jesus raise His friend Lazarus from the dead. Finally, they scurry to a locked room on Easter evening to witness the ultimate love Jesus showed by giving His life for His friends.

Our Friendship Trek VBS ’08 is rapidly approaching.  Please join us in praying for our Vacation Bible School 2008.  Pray for guidance for the director, willing volunteers, open hearts that are ready to hear the gospel, and that the Lord’s will be done.  Would you also please prayerfully consider lending one or more of your God-given talents to VBS this year? There are so many ways you can help support our vacation bible school outreach.  You can pray, be a volunteer, donate time to setting up or cleaning up, loan supplies, donate snacks, or just show-up.  How exciting it would be to introduce a child to Jesus, our Forever Friend!

Our Friendship Trek VBS ’08 will be held Sunday June 22- Thursday June 26 from 6:00-9:00pm, with a Closing Cook-Out Program on Friday June 27 at Nameless Creek Youth Camp, where you and your family can camp overnight! (More details to follow!)
