Congregation begins call process

At its regular quarterly meeting, the congregation of Faith Lutheran Church approved the members of the Call Committee. Those on the committee are: Ben Rice (Congregational President), Debby Dishman (Congregational Secretary), Don Albrecht (Board of Elders), Chuck Ford (member), Brenda Gartz (member), Richard Thompson (organist), and Bob Yeager (Board of Stewardship.) The committee will begin accepting nominations from the congregation as well as from the district.

Also at the meeting, the congregation approved the start of the new stained glass windows that will go over the doors between the narthex and the nave. The basic layout will be waves of water leading from the ark to the baptismal font. Luther's baptismal prayer will be etched into the glass.

The congregational members also heard discussion on the proposed administrative assistant that will be hired to replaced our retiring secretary Eddi Placke.

The Faith Forward Committee also presented a report on their goals and direction for our church as we plan for the future.
