Congregational call meeting set

The Call Committee has reviewed the Personal Identification Files (PIF) and the Self-Evaluation Tool (SET) on the 37 candidates as our next pastor. The list has been narrowed to four pastors.

The Call Committee has announced a voters' meeting for Sunday, August 19, at 3:00 p.m. The four nominees recommended by the committee will be presented for vote by the communicant members who have attained the age of 18 years.

Biographical information on each of the four candidates will be handed out to all voters following the Divine Service on that Sunday morning. Each handout will be a condensed version of the PIF and SET that we received from District and will include the District President's comments.

The members of the Call Committee have worked and prayed diligently. We have had the advantage of Pastor Baumann's years of experience as Circuit Counselor. We believe the Holy Spirit has led us to this point and will continue to work through this congregation to call the Pastor that God has set aside for us.
